Claire-Amélie Huardel

Claire-Amélie is an Intern at PlanAdapt’s coordination hub, working remotely from France.

She is particularly interested in topics at the intersection of gender and climate change, social and climate justice and participatory approaches.

Previously, Claire-Amélie has worked for 5 years in an international corporate foundation (Fondation Chanel) dedicated to improving the social and economic situations of women and girls around the world by financially supporting non-profit organizations. Her work included the selection of new partners in Western Europe, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of projects throughout the partnership. She was also actively involved in the French Coalition of Foundations committed to fight climate change.

Claire-Amélie is currently enrolled in a Masters in Development and Environmental Studies focusing on Climate Change Adaptation at the University of Paris-Saclay, France. Prior to that, she studied international relations at the University of Montreal and holds a Masters in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.

At PlanAdapt, Claire-Amélie will support the work of the Climate Co-Adaptation Lab.
