Anna Mandorli

Anna Mandorli is a Project Manager (Climate Change Adaptation) at PlanAdapt’s coordination hub, based in Tuscany, Italy.

She is particularly interested in exploring the nexus between nature-based solutions, social justice and climate justice. At PlanAdapt, she supports and facilitates the Climate Co-Adaptation Lab processes and contributes to project development and implementation in the area of ecosystem-based adaptation in the Global South.

Previously, Anna volunteered in environmental organisations such as Greenpeace and Fridays for Future. She has also been holding a position in the sustainability department at Moogli to support companies in monitoring and improving their sustainability impacts and compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Anna has recently graduated from the MSc Governance of Sustainability at the University of Leiden, in the Netherlands. Her thesis focused on the contribution that the Environmental Justice perspective can give to inform the assessment of Nature-based Solutions in cities. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Pisa, in Italy.

At PlanAdapt, Anna supports the PlanAdpt Fellows who are active in the Climate Co-Adaptation Lab.
